Movement Alignment

Strengthening alignment across organizations and movements.

Alignment work brings together assessment, strategy, training, and coaching into a coordinated process designed to surface misalignment, strengthen accountability, and support forward movement. All engagements are trauma-informed, participatory, and tailored to context, scale, and moment.

Below are examples of how alignment packages may look depending on specific needs, context, and capacity.

Sample Alignment Packages

    • Review of mission, vision, values, and/or policy positions

    • Review of operational and personnel policies

    • Review of key documents such as strategic plans, organizational reports, or campaign materials

    • A written summary of findings and recommendations

    • One follow-up coaching session to support reflection, prioritization, and initial change

This process takes 2 to 3 months and is often used as an entry point or initial diagnostic to inform deeper alignment work.

  • This package includes everything in Tier 1, plus:

    • Surveys to surface patterns, experiences, and areas of tension

    • Interviews with staff, volunteers, leadership bodies, or campaign teams

    • Additional coaching sessions to support accountability and follow-through

This is a 3 to 6 month process that supports organizations and campaigns to move beyond review and engage more voices in the conversation.

  • This package includes everything in Tiers 1 and 2, plus:

    • Listening sessions or focus groups

    • Engagement with partners, constituents, or affiliated organizations

    • Strategic or program planning support

    • Retreat design and facilitation for leadership or campaign teams

    • Learning cohorts and custom training packages

    • Executive and/or management coaching throughout the engagement

This is a 6 to 18 month process that is designed for larger campaigns, coalitions, or movements seeking sustained, integrated alignment work over time.
